Consists of an album with eleven detailed pen and ink drawings of crochet patterns created by Kate Huxley in 1848 along with approximately 150 crochet and lace samples. The album and three of the samples include descriptive notes about crocheting. A doll's hat, edgings, accessories, and hair pin lace are found among the samples.
