Twenty-nine signed receipts for a variety of goods, such as "fifteen Dollars in full for a Mattrass," and "Seven hundred twenty four Dollars 50/100 ... for 100 Kegs of Lard." Includes commodities shipped to Havana, Cuba. At the back of the book are some rough sketches of buildings, evidently done at a much later time as one appears to be a skyscraper.

Coates family silhouette collection

Scope and Contents Contains 77 negative silhouettes mounted on black backgrounds, all but three of which are identified on a "List of Names" at the beginning of the volume.
